The best thing about LiJing Hotel Shanghai is the perfect location. It is located right in the city center - People's Square and the shopping Nanjing Road are of short walking distance from the hotel's door and anywhere you want to go in Shangai as a tourist - the Subway can take you there in minutes (1 station from the Shanghai tv / Pearl Tower), while the subway entrance is 100 meters away from the hotel. We didn't need more than a perfect location and this is what we got!
The hotel design and rooms interior are outdated and the breakfast is quite poor. But it is all clean and in a perfect location for a fair price - so we were still very happy!

The hotel's location is unbeatable, with famous landmarks and popular shopping areas just a short walk away. You can easily explore the city using the nearby subway station, which is conveniently located only 100 meters from the hotel entrance. The rooms are clean and the staff provides excellent service, ensuring a comfortable stay for guests. Plus, the affordable price makes it a great value for money.
The hotel's interior design and breakfast options could use some improvement.

Breakfast absolutely not for a ouest foreigner, no coffee, no tea; no bread, just a horrible constant chinese breakfast each morning, and no more sheeze neither pleasant room! No return in this hotel for these reasons otherwise we would have hoped for choosing room with or without breakfast.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by a few key things. the location couldn't have been better. It was right in the heart of the city center, with People's Square and Nanjing Road just a short walk away. Being a tourist, this made exploring Shanghai so convenient and easy. the subway station was just 100 meters from the hotel, allowing us to reach any part of the city in no time. This was especially great as we wanted to visit the Shanghai TV/Pearl Tower, which was just one subway station away. Lastly, the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. We felt comfortable and at ease throughout our stay.
There were a couple of things that could be improved at this hotel. the design of the rooms and the overall interior seemed outdated.

Great Locations and Price.
Breakfast, was terrible, very little to select from (4) Chinese menu. Only tea and hot water, Tea Boiler needs clean too many flies on it!. Room was clean, but in a terrible condition (cracked walls, stains on sheets and carpet), broken tiles and moldin bath!

We loved the perfect location, just a short walk from the city center and shopping area. The subway station was conveniently close, making it easy to explore the city and reach popular tourist spots like the Shanghai TV/Pearl Tower in minutes. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful during our stay.
Nothing for me.

The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect! It was right in the heart of the city, with People's Square and Nanjing Road just a short walk away. The best part was the easy access to the subway, with the entrance just 100 meters from the hotel. It made exploring the city so convenient and hassle-free. the hotel rooms were clean and tidy, providing a comfortable stay.
The hotel design and room interiors were a bit outdated. It could definitely use a renovation to give it a more modern and fresh feel.
